When choosing a beer to have with one of our incredible Steam Pot meals or even a traditional Crab Cake Sandwich, you don’t want the beer to outshine, over-sweeten, or increase bitterness on your palate. Light beers are generally the best choice to pair with fish, along with hefeweizen, pilsner, and citrus flavors. While strong, tangy IPAs might be better with smoky, strong, or barbeque flavors, like the Ropewalk Hickory Smoked Wings or the Jerk Chicken Salad.

- Mermaid Tail Pale Ale
This draft beer is brewed by Ropewalk’s contract brewery partners and is a smooth pale ale that goes well with nearly anything on the menu! We recommend the Maine Lobster Steamer or the Steamed Shrimp.
- Ronald Reagan Pilsner
Named for the man himself! This draft beer, made by Ropewalk’s brewery partners, would complement the Reda Rockfish Tacos or the McFaul Crab Cake.
- Big Oyster Solar Power
A local favorite from just up Route 1 in Lewes, DE, Big Oyster serves up a deliciously light and citrusy draft beer, brewed with fresh oranges and coriander. Any of our Steam Pot options, from the Bayou to the Deadliest Steam Pot, would go nicely with the citrus flavors of Solar Power.
- Stella Artois
Stella Artois is a light Belgium lager, loved for its balance between sweetness and hops. A customer favorite on our draft list, Stella is a good choice to enjoy with nearly anything on our menu. Our favorite recommendations are the Sesame Encrusted Tuna Tacos, the Ropewalk Poke Bowl, or the Seared Ahi Tuna appetizer.
- Golden Road Mango Cart Wheat
